Unsung Heroes

We have a hero.

Every day she goes to work. All day long she drives around in a little white car. Sometimes she waves. Sometimes she drops letters in our mailboxes. Except on Monday.

On Monday, as she went about her job, she noticed a man trying to get a neighborhood kid into his car. He wasn't somebody she recognized. It didn't seem right. So she interfered.

And she protected a little boy. She stopped a nightmare. She kept that little boy's name off of the missing child list.

We call our hero "Mail Lady".

Thank you for noticing. Thank you for interfering. Thank you for keeping our friend safe!

The abductor or the kid?

The abductor was a 60'ish white male with white hair & white beard. (Nice. Way to make the kids afraid of Santa!)

The kid was the son of the guy who bought Josh's Honda. They live on a farm about 1/10th of a mile from our house.
