Million Dollar Highway

This is the "Million Dollar Highway" that goes from Ouray to Silverton. It cost a million dollars per mile to build, an unheard of sum back in the day. It tops out at more than 10,000 feet in elevation too. Notice the alarming lack of guardrails!

I love driving on that road!! It is so pretty!! A little scary at some points though!
